  • “People don’t write sonnets about being compatible. Or novels about shared life goals and stimulating conversation. The great loves are the crazy ones.”

  • Reason for Breathing

So often people waste their time attempting to find some kind of satisfaction in themselves or purpose on why they were put on earth. Some try to find it through another person. Some try to find it through alcohol and drugs. Some even try to find it by ending their own life’s. But all these attempts have one thing in common, they lead to a dead end. All of them may provide temporary fulfillment, but at the end of the day you’re still left wondering if theres something more. Is it possible that maybe, just maybe, the desire for something more is put in us for a reason? Maybe thats why were called the “lost generation.” Cause we’re stuck looking for the newest thrill, in hope of it ending our search.

    It never will though.

God has given us this want, this desire, so that we would search hopelessly until one day we find him. He gives us hope. He gives us strength. He gives us security. He gives us peace. And in a world filled with love that seems to never last, He gives us the most pure, genuine and unconditional love you could ever imagine.
